Feature — Call reporting

A CDR is not a report. Callnsight is.

Your PBX stores one row per call in UTC and shows you the most recent handful. Callnsight keeps every record it syncs and turns them into the figures you actually reconcile against — by day, by direction, in your timezone.

What the reports show

Volume and talk time by day
Call counts and total talk time bucketed by day, with a daily trend, so a busy Monday or a quiet week is a shape you can see rather than a spreadsheet you have to build.
Split by direction, with an abandoned rate
Inbound, outbound and the calls that were never answered, kept apart — so the abandoned rate is a figure you can watch, not one you have to derive.
Your days, not UTC
Buckets follow your account’s timezone, so a day on the report is a day at your desk. A PBX that logs in UTC quietly splits a busy afternoon across two dates; this doesn’t.
Filter, then export
Filter the underlying calls by direction, extension, caller ID or date range and export exactly the rows behind a figure. The report and the raw records reconcile because they come from the same sync.

How a report gets built

  1. Once

    Connect the PBX

Callnsight starts syncing call detail records from your Vodia or Broadvoice system. The first run backfills the history the PBX still holds.

  2. On every sync

    Records become figures

Each new call is folded into the dashboard and the reporting page — volume, talk time, the direction split and the abandoned rate — kept current as calls arrive.

  3. Whenever you need it

    Read it, or export it

Open the dashboard for the trend, or the reporting page for the KPIs, and export the calls behind any number you are asked to explain.

Questions

What reports does Callnsight produce?
A dashboard and a reporting page: call volume and total talk time by day with a daily trend, split by direction, and an abandoned-call rate. Per-account usage and storage are tracked alongside them.
Can I report on more than the last few calls?
Yes. A PBX web interface typically shows only the most recent calls; Callnsight keeps every record it syncs — a year of history on Starter, up to three years on Business — so a report can span the period you actually need to reconcile.
Are the reports in my timezone?
Yes. Day buckets follow your account’s timezone rather than the server’s UTC clock, so a day on the report matches a day at your desk.
Can I get the raw records behind a figure?
Yes. Filter the calls by direction, extension, caller ID or date range and export exactly those rows to CSV. The export honours the filters, so it matches the figure it came from.
