Integration — Broadvoice
Broadvoice handles the calls. Callnsight keeps the record.
Broadvoice delivers each completed call to Callnsight the moment it ends — the record and the recording — and Callnsight keeps them searchable by any part of a number, in your own timezone, for as long as your retention policy says.
What Callnsight adds
- One searchable archive
- Every completed call lands in one table. Filter by direction, extension, caller ID or date range, and export exactly the rows you filtered — no portal spelunking, no CSV reconciliation.
- Recordings you own
- Play back and scrub in the browser without downloading first. Keep the audio on your own S3 bucket or SFTP server, with downloading a permission you grant, not a link you share.
- Reports in your timezone
- Call volume and talk time by day, split by direction, with an abandoned rate. The days are your days — buckets follow your timezone, not the server’s.
- Retention as policy
- A year of history on Starter, up to three on Business — kept to a written policy that prunes what it promises to prune, not until a disk fills.
How it connects
Once
Callnsight gives you a webhook URL
Generated with its own secret. There are no Broadvoice credentials to mint or store — Callnsight never needs any.
Two minutes
Paste it into Broadvoice
Set it as the delivery destination in your Broadvoice account. That is the whole install — no server access, nothing touches your call flow.
From then on
Calls arrive as they finish
Broadvoice pushes each completed call — record and recording — the moment it ends. Every delivery must present the secret, and a delivery for a different Broadvoice account is refused.
Questions
- Does Callnsight import my old Broadvoice calls?
- No — Broadvoice pushes calls as they complete, so your history starts the day you connect. Connect early: the archive only grows from there.
- Does Callnsight need my Broadvoice credentials?
- No. Broadvoice delivers calls to a secret-protected URL you paste into your account. Callnsight never holds a Broadvoice login and never touches your call flow.
- Where do the recordings live?
- On Callnsight’s storage on every plan, or on your own S3 bucket or SFTP server from Starter up — we index the audio, you own it.
- How long is call history kept?
- As long as your plan allows — 30 days on the Trial, one year on Starter, two on Growth, three on Business, negotiated on Enterprise — or any shorter policy you set.
